Willkommen, Welcome, Bienvenue, 歡迎光臨, ยินดีต้อนรับ, Aloha!
Can you think of any better time to start a blog than this?? At least I can’t. I thought this would be one of the best times to start a new blog since a new year comes with resolutions, one of mine was to step out of my comfort zone and try out new things. I have always enjoyed reading through blogs but never really had the courage to create one of my own, something I wanted to change this year.
So this post is going to be a sort of introduction where I want to clarify a few things before I start getting right into the blogging. First of all I want to say that I stand for what I decide to share with you guys.
Another important thing to me is that you know that the way I represent myself on social media isn’t necessarily how I am in real life. Just like others out there I tend to only show the good sides of my life and try to keep out the bad. Often I recieve comments on my Instagram feed from people saying “how can you be so pretty?”, “goals”, “perfect” and a lot more comments like these. Although I am really flattered and it always makes my day a lot, I want you to know that I’m not perfect and just like everyone else I have my inperfections. To be honest I’m living a normal teenage life with all its perks, I’m not always happy and I’m still trying to figure out who I am and what I want to do with my life. Also I’m insecure with myself most of the time and struggle with anxiety, trying to do the right things to please everyone and make people proud, in particular my friends and family. I want to prove myself and others that I’m capable of accomplishing things, that I’m going somewhere. So what I’m trying to say here is that what I show on instagram is what I choose to share with you. It’s just one little impression out of thousands. Just like everyone else out there I struggle with a lot of things in life too.
Please keep in mind that there is a difference of me as a person and what I decide to share on social media and my blog.
On most of my pictures I have make-up on or have a good facial expression. Another thing that appears to give another expression. I don’t wear make-up and dress nicely every day. In fact I often tend to go to school with no make-up on just because I’m to lazy. Also most of the time you can find me being clumbsy and embarassing my friends. When I feel comfortable around people, I can be loud and crazy but I’m extremely shy when I’m not. That’s me! I’m still under construction, I’m a work in progress.
I hope that you’re still interested in reading blogposts and you don’t mind me being honest and clearing up a few things. But I just find it important for you to know that I don’t live in a dreamworld and also have to struggle with all sorts of daily problems. I try to be authentic.
